Magnum's inspection methods are critical to ensuring the dimensional integrity of our customer’s components. We have a full metrology suite dedicated to quality assurance and are familiar with the design requirements and tolerances used by our customers. Our temperature and humidity-controlled inspection room houses both manual gages and computerized inspection equipment. Magnum’s inspection department utilizes a Brown & Sharpe touch-probe CMM and the latest PC-DMIS software for 3D inspections.

When it comes to all inspections, Magnum works from a detailed, “ballooned” print. The print can either be created by Magnum based on your tolerance requirements, or, more typically, can be supplied by our customer. We will familiarize ourselves with all of your component’s dimensional requirements and draft an inspection report to be completed by our technician during inspection. This way, you can review all of the measurements taken during the process and highlighted areas of concern, if any are found.

Magnum has been recognized for its attention to detail and strict adherence to the inspection process. We will provide you with detailed inspection reports, including 3D plots and graphs, and Cpk and Ppk analysis to demonstrate that your parts meet their mark. All prototype and production parts are inspected to meet PPAP requirements.
