Subtractive Machining

Magnum’s team of programmers and machinists can produce complete parts CNC machined from stock or billet. The selection of materials we offer includes: aluminum, steel, plastic, high-density foam, wood, and other solid materials. We utilize the latest machining techniques and software to achieve precision dimensions on your final product. Our experienced operators will develop clean and efficient cutter paths to reduce lead time and ensure accuracy.

For prototype programs, CNC subtractive machining is effective for applications where material property or size render other techniques inadvisable. It is also the preferred process for certain applications that require higher quality features than those produced

through conventional casting methods.

All of our CNC machined components are cut directly from your finalized CAD data. We will review your data for accuracy before any cutting takes place. Our modern machining centers are fast and precise, and our operators will work around the clock to meet your approaching deadlines.

In addition to subtractive machining, we also specialize in CNC machining of manufactured components to achieve the strict dimensional tolerances of your print. Through our machining process, we can qualify the holes and surfaces of any cast part. We will then check each of your parts individually for accuracy.
